Terms of use
This draft explains the intended free, no-registration service. Review for local legal requirements and the hosting entity's final details before a public launch.
Free access
Khuram Notepad is intended to be free to use, without accounts, subscription fees, or compulsory sign-in. The public website may display clearly identified advertising. No purchases are required for the features currently provided.
Your content and backups
You keep the rights to the notes you write. Notes are stored locally in your browser or app, not centrally backed up. You are responsible for creating and securely keeping exported backup copies. We do not guarantee recovery after a browser data reset, device failure or uninstallation.
Acceptable use
Use the software lawfully. Do not try to disrupt the public website, distribute malware or interfere with another user's device. You may use the writing tools without disclosing personal identity.
Availability and limitations
This is development-stage software. Compatibility, uptime, data integrity and availability are not guaranteed. Local notes are not encrypted at rest, so this edition should not be relied upon as a vault for credentials or other highly sensitive information. Use backup and device-level security precautions.
Advertising
Ads, when enabled, are supplied by third parties and may link to external websites subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Ads are not an endorsement of advertised products.
Ownership and contact
Created by Khuram Waqas. Author website: khuramwaqas.com. Software distribution rights remain reserved unless separately licensed. The hosting operator should add a contact route and finalized legal provisions appropriate to their jurisdiction.
