REVIEW BEFORE PUBLIC LAUNCH

Privacy information

This is a deployment draft for the public, advertising-supported Khuram Notepad website. The site operator should confirm actual hosting, advertising partners, geographic consent requirements, and contact information before publishing it as a final policy.

No accounts or login

The notepad does not require registration, an email address, or a password. There are no user accounts or account cookies in this edition.

Where your notes are stored

Notes, tags, folders, and settings are stored locally in your current browser or packaged app, mainly using IndexedDB, with localStorage fallback. The notepad does not intentionally upload note contents to our server. Different browsers, devices, and browser profiles have separate storage. Clearing browser data, private browsing, uninstalling, or storage failure may delete your notes. Export JSON backups regularly. Notes are not encrypted at rest.

Advertising and consent

The site includes an optional advertising integration that is disabled until configured by the operator. When enabled, third-party advertising providers, such as Google AdSense, may receive network information, device and browser identifiers, cookie data, and other information under their own policies. Third-party advertising scripts are excluded from the private writing editor and only permitted on public marketing pages after configuration and appropriate consent. Advertising providers may still observe metadata when visitors view those public pages. Advertising must follow applicable consent and privacy rules. Where required, the site operator must use a suitable certified Consent Management Platform and offer appropriate privacy choices before ad tags run.

Technical requests and embedded widget

Hosting providers may process ordinary server logs such as IP addresses, time of access and requested pages. Retention depends on the operator's hosting configuration. The optional embedded widget stores its own draft locally when third-party storage is allowed. Web capture links carry text in the browser URL fragment so the fragment is not included in ordinary HTTP requests, but should not be shared.

Retention, deletion and export

You can export notes from Import / Export, and you can remove individual notes in the editor. To clear all locally stored data, use your browser's site-data removal tools or remove the application. There is no operator-side note database to recover deleted local notes. The final deployed privacy policy should specify ad-vendor choices, cookie retention, log retention and a working operator contact route.

Contact
